Notes

Eggs hatch just prior to bud burst, typically mid April although this year many eggs are hatching early.


At this stage they are very small (around 3mm).


Orange with black head.


They’re very hard to see from the ground.


They feed at night.


Stay in buds.


They don't form nests.


No harmful hairs.
